Behind The Lens
The Origin of O Photography

In 2010, I founded O Photography, driven by my passion for capturing the beauty of Somerset. My journey began when I started exploring the stunning landscapes around me, from the rolling hills of Somerset to the rugged coastlines and serene lochs of Scotland. The variety of natural beauty in both places fueled my creativity and helped me develop my photography skills.

My big break came when a photo I took of a misty sunrise over Glastonbury Tor went viral in the local community. With so many requests for my work, I decided to turn my passion into a business. I named it O Photography, inspired by the camera lens and the endless creative possibilities it held. My company has since become known for its natural, story-driven approach to capturing weddings, portraits, and events, all while celebrating the beauty of Somerset.
Equipment Used

For Photographs
At O Photography, I use a blend of cutting-edge technology to capture every detail with precision. For wide-angle shots, I rely on the iPhone 16 Pro, which delivers stunning clarity and rich color, perfect for landscapes and scenic shots. For more detailed, zoomed-in shots, I use a Panasonic camera, known for its exceptional zoom capabilities and sharpness, allowing me to capture moments with incredible focus and depth. This combination of equipment ensures that every photograph is both versatile and visually striking.

For Editing
I started out editing on a high-spec laptop, but as my work grew, I upgraded to a more powerful desktop featuring a 4070 Ti Super GPU and a 7900X3D processor. This setup gives me the speed and performance needed to handle high-resolution images with ease, making the editing process smoother and more efficient. It allows me to focus on the finer details, ensuring that every image is polished and delivered at the highest quality for my clients.
